Overview

This film is adapted from the novel written by filmmaker MD Borhanul Ashekin (Borhan Khan), titled "Operation Cargo Nyx." Set in Dhaka, it follows drug kingpin Hafiz Al Yakub, who eliminates his rival David upon leaving prison. He prepares to smuggle 900 kg of heroin and a large LSD consignment aboard a ship codenamed "Nyx." Inspector Ahad, pulled from leave just as his wife goes into labor, chooses duty over family. He investigates Yakub's network, raids a riverside warehouse where Yakub's lover Daisy sacrifices herself, and tracks Yakub to a forest. After extracting the shipment's location from bodyguard Sultan, Ahad defeats Yakub in hand-to-hand combat. The raid succeeds, seizing the nation's largest drug haul. However, Ahad arrives at the hospital to find his son born and his wife dead. Blending victory and loss, the story explores duty, loyalty, and light emerging from darkness.
