Overview

Fátima and Laurinda are mother and daughter and the only thing they have in common is their blood ties. While Fátima suffers a series of misfortunes because of her daughter, Laurinda seeks to ascend socially at any cost through a millionaire marriage with the Martins de Mello heir.
