Overview
A documentary portrait of Itō Noe (1895–1923), the Japanese feminist, writer, and anarchist whose radical challenges to conventional marriage, gender roles, and social authority made her a controversial figure in early twentieth-century Japan. It explores the intersections of her personal relationships, revolutionary politics, and public notoriety.
